The College Collective is powered by the expertise of our members. Led by our Experts, our collaborative groups bring colleagues together to explore a wide range of topics, professional areas and shared challenges.
Whatever your role or area of interest in further education, there are opportunities to connect with peers, share practice, learn from others and find practical solutions together.

Each Group meets every half term on-line, and is open to any member of staff from a College Collective partner college.

The College Collective AI Network is a space for colleagues across FE to share ideas, resources and practical experience of using AI. Building on our face-to-face AI event in December 2025, the on-line network keeps the conversation going, helping members learn from each other, explore what’s working and keep pace with developments.

The College Collective Sustainability Network is a new space for colleagues across FE to connect, share ideas and explore how colleges are responding to the sustainability agenda. It’s a place to share practical approaches, useful resources and examples of what’s working across the sector.
Learning and Development
The College Collective Learning and Development Network is a space for colleagues across FE to connect, share ideas and explore new approaches to developing their people. The network will build towards our face-to-face event in December 2026, bringing members together to share practice, tackle common challenges and learn from each other.

MIS
The College Collective MIS Network brings together colleagues responsible for management information, funding, compliance and data across FE. It’s a practical space to compare approaches, work through changing funding rules and guidance, and share solutions to common challenges including apprenticeships, exams, enrolment, audit and reporting. Members can learn how other colleges are tackling the same issues, share systems and processes that work, and tap into the expertise of MIS colleagues across the sector.

Qualification Reform
The College Collective Qualification Reform Network brings together colleagues across FE to make sense of qualification reform and what it means in practice for colleges. It’s a space to share updates and intelligence, compare approaches to curriculum planning and implementation, and work through the implications for learners, staff and resources. Members can hear how other colleges are responding, share emerging practice and keep up with changes as the qualification landscape develops.
Health and Safety
The College Collective Health and Safety Network brings together colleagues responsible for health, safety and compliance across FE. It’s a practical space to compare approaches, share policies and resources, and work through common challenges including risk assessment, incident management, staff and student safety, estates, contractors and changing legislation. Members can learn from how other colleges are tackling issues and tap into the collective expertise of health and safety colleagues across the sector.
